Our journey through Australia led us to the Gorge Wildlife Park near Adelaide, where I was able to take all of these photos. Although these animals are born in captivity, they are native to Australia, and are allowed to roam free in the park. So if you keep your distance and bring a good zoom lens, you can still experience a somewhat natural behavior.
The park also offered a Koala holding experience, which we couldn’t really not do while we were already here. Also it was a very rainy day, which resulted in some hilarious shots.
